近日，日本一间语言学校因严重侵害留学生人权，被日本当局注销招生资格。之后，日媒发现，该校的问题远比此前曝光的还要严重。
据香港01报导，9月7日，位于日本福冈市南区的日本语学校“西日本国际教育学”被日本当局注销招生资格，当局要求该校在5年内不得招收新留学生，并敦促学校为在校留学生（约630位）转校。
据悉，事情发生在去年10月，该校的一位越南留学生因不满学校氛围希望转校。当他向学校提出时，学校职员要求他交出护照和在留卡。该生拒绝后，该职员用铁链将自己和越南留学生锁在一起。
在接受采访时，该留学生称，他被锁数小时后回到宿舍，这时仍有职员在房门外监视，他感觉自己被当成动物，人权被侵害。
事后，该留学生将过程录像发到网上，引发巨大关注。11月，该生向日本当局提出申诉；直至今年9月，日本当局才注销该校的招生资格。
在事件刚曝光时，学校解释称，当事职员的行为是“恶作剧 ”，并指是个人行为，学校的整体状况并非如此。
但随着记者的深入了解，越来越多的黑暗浮出水面。有记者发现，该校留学生的宿舍犹如废墟、腐臭无比，更因为水管破裂，学生无法接水，只能用厕所水煮饭。
该校拥有两间宿舍，学生在入学后，将在这里生活6个月。宿舍的环境很差，两个宿舍的名字不同，分别是“天狼会馆”和“高木寮”。
宿舍条件相当差，犹如废墟。环境也不卫生、部分地板腐烂不说，还传出恶臭，水管失修，厨房无水……。
宿舍的环境虽然不好，但价格却不便宜，单人房的租金是3万日元（约合人民币1450元），双人房的租金是2万日元（约合人民币966元）。
今年4至7月，该校为了接收新生将3间会议室改造成睡房，为了多住人，房间摆放的是上下铺，其中一间大房，里面共有21人同住，有时甚至需要2个人挤在下铺睡觉。
报导称，在这样的环境下，9月5日和12日均有学生意识不明，需紧急送院治疗的事件发生。
学校内幕曝光后，不少网友批评校方的行为“非人道”，认为5年内不能招收新留学生的惩罚太轻。
还有网民认为，这次事件可能只是“冰山一角”，督促政府做好规管。
