知名作家六六曾担任中共宣传武汉抗疫电视剧《在一起》的编剧，多次为中共抗疫背书引发争议。此次上海疫情爆发，六六的父母在严格防疫下险些丧命，她4月10日在朋友圈发文，绝望的描述了这段遭遇。
六六写道：两位老人在家封闭17天，除了查核酸没出过门，却先后确诊COVID-19，本来两人症状轻微，却被居委会天天打电话骚扰吓唬，说要拖到方舱去，结果母亲心脏病发作，打120电话没有回应，找医院要排队，75岁的老人被折腾的生命衰弱；父亲核酸已经转阴，冲到门口去拿救命药硝酸甘油，却因此被居委会追著骚扰，居委会说，因为父亲出门，所以要把六六的母亲立刻送到方舱。六六表示，妈妈一直在哭，而且已经在视频里跟家人吿别。“你们能从文字里读到一个女儿绝望的心吗？”
六六在这篇绝望文中还透露，就在父母隔壁小区，当天就有一个阳性患者因为发烧两天得不到救助，死在了居委会门口。
六六是新加坡籍华裔女作家，曾出版多部小说，其中《蜗居》更是红极一时。她还在去年3月参与中国官方为了宣传抗疫的主旋律片《在一起》的拍摄，还在个人微信号发表4篇文章记述自己的武汉行，强行替武汉人感谢政府感谢党，在国际社会都关注武汉人道危机的时候为中共背书，引发争议。
