中国官方公布的新冠疫情感染人数及死亡数字，令外界质疑。据中国医疗卫生系统人士透露，近两个月，各地注销户籍的数量比平时增加了三至五倍，二、三线城市更高。此外，江西抚州东乡政府重启全员核酸检测，遭网民指责后，公开致歉。
据江苏医疗界人士王宁本周三（25日）接受本台采访时披露，根据医疗系统及民政部门的内部数据，去年12月初至今，注销户籍的人数同比增加3至5倍，在部分地区更多：“比如说这个城市本来一个月死100人，现在基本上要死300到500人之间。我有些朋友是公务员，他们要去办理户口注销，数量是平时的3倍。我听到外地的做殡葬生意的说一些相关数据，差不多是4到5倍。”
王宁说，中国二、三线城市的医疗条件差，死亡人数更高，吴尊友强调的是住院染疫死亡七万多例，但他未提及在医院外的死亡人数。
石家庄一派出所称春节后注销户口人较多
本台记者周三致电石家庄市合作路派出所了解注销户口情况，接听电话的公安说要等春节后，由市公安局户籍处办理：“到市里面，应该是年初八以后办理，我们这里，我还真不知道，我搞不清楚，你问他们（户籍科）。”
记者又向该市深泽县白庄派出所查询。对方说，春节过后，会有很多人办理注销户口：“初七一上班，春节假期嘛，到时候人肯定特别多。”
记者：“注销户口的是不是比以前多很多？”
派出所：“那个我们不清楚。如果确实去世，需要带死亡证明、户口本、身份证，火化证到我们这儿来办销户。”
四天前，中国疾病预防控制中心首席流行病学家吴尊友表示，现在中国感染新冠病毒的人口已80%，在未来两三个月内出现新冠大反弹的可能性很小。不过，大年初一（22日）至初三，江西省抚州市东乡区政府发出《关于组织开展免费核酸检测的通告》，决定于1月25、26日（正月初四、初五）在全区范围内开展免费核酸检测……。

上述通告立即登上微博热搜，并引发网民强烈质疑。网民留言称，政府都发了文件，乙类乙管而且更名为新型冠状病毒感染，这大过年的要自找不痛快吗？还有网民说，核酸试剂也要去库存吗？要捞最后一笔钱吗？
江西抚州居民傅女士对本台说，东乡区政府要求居民做核酸检测，无法律依据：“我觉得非常奇怪，前一段时间，国家把新冠调整为乙类，不需要再做全员核酸检测。疫情三年，政府在核酸检测上投入了大量的资金，耗费了很多纳税人的钱，他们为什么不能认真反思一下，这种徒劳无功的行为，为什么还要继续？”
周二下午，东乡区新冠肺炎疫情防控应急指挥部办公室在“东乡发布”微信公众平台发布的《关于组织开展免费核酸检测的通告》一文，已经被删除，并发文致歉。
