中國官方公布的新冠疫情感染人數及死亡數字，令外界質疑。據中國醫療衛生系統人士透露，近兩個月，各地註銷戶籍的數量比平時增加了三至五倍，二、三線城市更高。此外，江西撫州東鄉政府重啟全員核酸檢測，遭網民指責後，公開致歉。
據江蘇醫療界人士王寧本周三（25日）接受本台採訪時披露，根據醫療系統及民政部門的內部數據，去年12月初至今，註銷戶籍的人數同比增加3至5倍，在部分地區更多：「比如說這個城市本來一個月死100人，現在基本上要死300到500人之間。我有些朋友是公務員，他們要去辦理戶口註銷，數量是平時的3倍。我聽到外地的做殯葬生意的說一些相關數據，差不多是4到5倍。」
王寧說，中國二、三線城市的醫療條件差，死亡人數更高，吳尊友強調的是住院染疫死亡七萬多例，但他未提及在醫院外的死亡人數。
石家莊一派出所稱春節後註銷戶口人較多
本台記者周三致電石家莊市合作路派出所了解註銷戶口情況，接聽電話的公安說要等春節後，由市公安局戶籍處辦理：「到市裡面，應該是年初八以後辦理，我們這裡，我還真不知道，我搞不清楚，你問他們（戶籍科）。」
記者又向該市深澤縣白莊派出所查詢。對方說，春節過後，會有很多人辦理註銷戶口：「初七一上班，春節假期嘛，到時候人肯定特別多。」
記者：「註銷戶口的是不是比以前多很多？」
派出所：「那個我們不清楚。如果確實去世，需要帶死亡證明、戶口本、身份證，火化證到我們這兒來辦銷戶。」
四天前，中國疾病預防控制中心首席流行病學家吳尊友表示，現在中國感染新冠病毒的人口已80%，在未來兩三個月內出現新冠大反彈的可能性很小。不過，大年初一（22日）至初三，江西省撫州市東鄉區政府發出《關於組織開展免費核酸檢測的通告》，決定於1月25、26日（正月初四、初五）在全區範圍內開展免費核酸檢測……。
撫州東鄉區政府收回核酸檢測通告
上述通告立即登上微博熱搜，並引發網民強烈質疑。網民留言稱，政府都發了文件，乙類乙管而且更名為新型冠狀病毒感染，這大過年的要自找不痛快嗎？還有網民說，核酸試劑也要去庫存嗎？要撈最後一筆錢嗎？
江西撫州居民傅女士對本台說，東鄉區政府要求居民做核酸檢測，無法律依據：「我覺得非常奇怪，前一段時間，國家把新冠調整為乙類，不需要再做全員核酸檢測。疫情三年，政府在核酸檢測上投入了大量的資金，耗費了很多納稅人的錢，他們為什麼不能認真反思一下，這種徒勞無功的行為，為什麼還要繼續？」
周二下午，東鄉區新冠肺炎疫情防控應急指揮部辦公室在「東鄉發布」微信公眾平台發布的《關於組織開展免費核酸檢測的通告》一文，已經被刪除，並發文致歉。
